This post marks the first in a series of blog posts that'll detail the development of any ongoing Chestpain projects. But first, a slightly less corporate introduction.

Yo.

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about what all of this really is.

So, to break character for a moment, I'm a guy. Yeah, just a guy. This is not a production company or legal entity or anything like that (at least not yet anyway). I'm just a guy making games and I wanted to sound cool so I made up a company for it. I want this to be known so that, going forward, you'll understand why these blog posts don't sound very formal. I'll mostly just speak from the heart (hey, that's a reference you don't get yet).

Anyway, what's with these big three projects I've got listed on this here website? (this is not gonna age well if there ends up being a fourth)

There's three main projects I've got under my belt; The Retro Exorcist, Mirror Drama, and Heartstory. Just so we're all on the same page, this is the current status for all of them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Retro Exorcist - Game I made a while ago and polished (a little) to put on Steam. Small scale project.

Status: Finished

Mirror Drama - Game I am currently working on. Large scale project.

Status: Work in Progress

Heartstory - Game/Comic I am somewhat working on in the background but not really. Larger scale project. Won't fully start on it until MD is finished.

Status: ???

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In other words, most of these blog posts will be dedicated to Mirror Drama going forward, with The Retro Exorcist really only getting a mention here in regards to it's recent Steam release.

...

Oh yeah! It released! *pretends to be surprised*

That's right, The Retro Exorcist is now available on Itchio, Game Jolt, and Steam for free. Why free? Because i̶t̶ ̶k̶i̶n̶d̶a̶ ̶s̶u̶c̶k̶s̶ ̶n̶g̶l̶ I love giving away stuff for free I guess. Go check it out for yourself!

And that's the end of the first Chestpain blog post. Once again, every blog going forward will be about Mirror Drama (or whatever else I feel like bringing up). Be sure to check back in regularly when I remember to do these.

See ya!
